Enrique martinez lozano biografia
Enduit façade exterieur
Enrique Mártinez Lozano was born in Guadalaviar, Teruel, in 1950. He is an animator of meetings and retreats, lecturer and author of several books (see his website at the end of the text), he knows how to articulate psychology and spirituality in a simple, profound and effective way, enhancing the growth of the human being. He uses Meditation as a deep experience to live the Unity and overcome all separateness and duality.
Sometimes it has been difficult for me to “see”, also because indecision is another trait of my character. But when I have seen clearly, I have realized, even very surprised, that no one and nothing could stop me (even though I lived a lot of insecurity before the opinion of others). And, on the other hand, confidence, an underlying feeling that, even in the midst of the greatest bewilderment, kept assuring me: “Trust. All is well. It did not come from the mind – which saw many things wrong and was suffering – but it tasted like the real thing.
That is how my life and spiritual experience has run, not as two separate things, but at all times unified. I have always been gifted with a special “nose” to detect the falsity of all dualism.
Enrique martinez lozano: living without beliefs?
An approach to reality from different perspectives and, by taking a little distance, as a whole, discovering that reality is an admirable puzzle in its very complex simplicity. I have discovered that the key to understanding the real is paradox. Briefly put, it could be expressed in this way: reality is not what it seems. This phrase, by the way, is the title of one of the books by the quantum physicist Carlo Rovelli. And it is not what it seems because, beyond the forms we perceive, there is the other side of the real, that which remains hidden from the senses and the mind. The paradox – which is only an apparent contradiction – opens our gaze to always see the double dimension – the two levels – of the real.
If the question is not too indiscreet, what have you discovered about yourself through the practice of transpersonal psychology? Or, asking the big question: What are you? It’s okay if you don’t want to answer. It is, after all, a very intimate thing.
It has been one of the great gifts of my existence and it became clear to me, if I can put it that way, in two moments: in the first I understood that I am nothing that I can observe, but that which observes; and in the second I was gifted with an experience of deep understanding where it became clear to me that, beyond the form or persona in which we are experiencing ourselves, we are conscious presence. The great problem -and tragedy- of the West is that we have confused ourselves with the mind and reduced ourselves to it. In reality, we have mind, but we are consciousness. This is what it all boils down to.
